Virginia is changing this year, and Page County is changing with it. The Page Democratic Comittee will be at the forefront of this change, representing the needs of the people.

February Meeting: Our February meeting saw our party continuing to organize our four principal committees and set meetings for them. The fundraising committee came up with some great ideas for a yard sale and worked more on the Jefferson-Jackson dinner, tickets for which are now on sale. The most important announcements to come from the meeting are:
The next meeting will be March 5 at 7 pm at the court house.
There will be a public discussion regarding the new comprehensive plan at the Luray VFW on March 11 begining in the morning and ending with questions for the supervisors attending at 7 PM.
Due to the success of our efforts to gather donations for Page1, we have decided that our April meeting will have donations open for Choices.
The Jefferson Jackson Dinner on April 23, 2009 at 6:30 PM at the Stanley Firehouse. Buffet meal is $18.00 per person. The speaker is to be announced.
There will soon be a Page Young Democrats club, more information to follow.
January Meeting: At our meeting on January 8 we began organizing the four main committees of our party to better activate and deploy our resources, and to ensure that we will be competitive in the upcoming elections. The committee formed a communications committee, a political committee, an action committee and a finance committee which will serve as permanent bodies to help organize the party and make action easier to take.
